Finding the way when none exists.

In 1914, Ernest Shackleton's ship Endurance became trapped in Antarctic ice. For nearly two years he led his crew through conditions that should have killed them all. Every man survived.

In 1577, Francis Drake set sail to circumnavigate the globe, a journey most believed impossible. He returned three years later, having opened trade routes that would shape the modern world.

Supply chain planning is at its own turning point. For decades, forecasts were built mostly from history, because a company's own shipment records were the only data it could trust. Today it's possible to forecast from what's coming instead: open orders, supplier signals and public demand drivers. And it can be done without handing your data to anyone.

Shackleton & Drake was founded on a simple conviction: companies should get modern AI planning without giving up control of their data. So we built DRAKE OS to run inside the customer's own AWS account, next to the tools they already use.
